BARRY COBBS

Barry was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas, where he started making films in third grade. Thanks to talented instructors, he received a bachelor's degree in film production from the University of Missouri and a master's degree in film production from the University of Texas at Austin. His career began in Los Angeles at 20th Century Fox Television on shows including In Living Color, King Koopa, and The Arsenio Hall Show on Fox, Three Blind Dates for MTV, Mama’s Family and Hollywood Squares for syndication, and Double Dare for Nickelodeon. As a producer, Barry has worked on television series, specials and films for Warner Brothers, Disney, CNET, NBC Productions, CNBC, Castle Rock, CBS, and concert broadcasts of The Zac Brown Band, Blink 182, Gym Class Heroes, My Morning Jacket and KISS for AT&T. StudioChunky is a proud sponsor of the Rogers Short Film Festival where Barry serves as Festival Director.

MIKE DAY

MIKE DAY (he/him) founded DAYVISION in 2015 and has directed several short films and a short documentary that appeared and won recognition at film festivals nationwide. In 2022, Day was nationally recognized as one of AT&T’s Dream in Black Future Makers, was awarded the Leading with Excellence Award by Black Action Collective in Northwest Arkansas was part of the Ones to Watch Class by Celebrate Arkansas. In 2023, he was awarded the Rodney Momon Youth Award at the MLK Council’s Salute to Greatness Ceremony in recognition of his character, leadership, and service to the community. Recently, Day was awarded the Oscar Micheaux Legacy Filmmaker Award at the 2025 Bare Bones International Film Festival in recognition of continuing the legacy as an African American filmmaker. Day hopes to create a platform for Black actors and filmmakers in Arkansas, allowing future generations to dream outside their environment while learning the rich history of African Americans in film.

AARON JONES

Aaron W. Jones is an artist, Arts Administrator and a self professed “dangerous dabbler”. He has 30 years of experience in the arts, arts education, museum profession, and arts administration. Currently he serves as the Director of Arts Integration and Museum Partnerships at Arkansas Arts Academy. Prior to his position with the Academy he worked in the museum field, Interpretation Manager and Guide Program Manager for Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art; University professor of art history, studio, humanities and art education at Oklahoma Baptist University and the University of Oklahoma; K-12 public art teacher as well as SPFX artist for some really low budget films from the ‘80’s.

SPADE ROBINSON

Spade Robinson is the owner of Atlanta Film Project, a full service story consulting firm, where she consults with individual screenwriters on telling the most compelling version of their stories. AFP also works with non-profit artist support organizations, such as Sundance Institute, Film Independent and Women In Film, as well as for-profit companies and networks, such as FOX, HBO and DISNEY.

KATHY McCLURE

Kathy K. McClure is a retired Mortgage Lender, having working in the industry for * years. Currently, she enjoys substitute teaching in the Rogers Schools, singing in the choir of the First United Methodist Church, and getting her flower beds ready for summer. In the past, she has appeared at Arkansas Public Theatre in musical theatre roles such as Sunset Blvd, The Wedding Singer, Mame, and Les Misérables. She is mom to Zachary Denison, three furry kids: Minnie, Maggie and Ricky, and wife of Ed McClure.

DAVID BUTTECALI

A native Texan travelling to Northwest Arkansas since the 1960’s, finally making the permanent move to Rogers in 2021. An experienced commercial real estate broker & advisor since 1982 having completed $800mil+ in transactions. Along the way, David’s love to hear himself talk led to creative endeavors in sports radio broadcasting and producer/host of a popular magazine format television show, winning a Tele Award for his efforts. Soon after arriving in Rogers, he and his adored wife of 30 years, Donna, attended the Rogers Short Film Festival in 2022 and became immediately hooked on the presentation and the unique impact the event can have on the NWA community. He offered to become a sponsor in 2023 and has been a Gold Sponsor ever since and honored to join the Board of Directors in 2024. David is also proud to have recruited 3 of his 4 children, including 2 grandchildren, to relocate to NWA. They are proudly serving as festival volunteers, primarily to keep a watchful eye on their Dad.

Taylor Toreno

From South Florida, Taylor grew up immersed in the arts. She was in the feature film Marley & Me alongside Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson; she graced the screen in Trolley's commercials and internal videos for Sam's Club. Taylor has also attended movie premieres alongside entertainment icons like Joe Piscopo and Louis Lombardi. She earned her Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University. She was recognized as One to Watch by Celebrate Arkansas, named 20 in their 20s by Arkansas Business, and included in the Fast 15 Class by the Arkansas Business Journal. She served on the board for Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas and currently sits on the board of directors for the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe in Fayetteville. In her free time, Taylor enjoys attending networking events, exploring thrift shops, immersing herself in a good book, and traveling.

Josh Ouzer

Josh is a UNLV graduate with a degree in Hospitality Administration and a background rooted in large-scale event management and hospitality operations. His early career in Las Vegas honed his appreciation for creating memorable experiences, developing talent, and bringing people together values that continue to shape his work today. He now serves as Vice President of Commercialization at Synchrony, where he helps translate complex financial products into meaningful customer experiences across retail and digital channels.

A lifelong fan of storytelling and performance, Josh has spent years preforming as a magician, consulting for magicians and live entertainers, blending creativity with audience engagement. That passion for the arts, education, and community-driven experiences is what drew him to the Rogers Short Film Festival, where he is proud to help champion emerging filmmakers and celebrate the power of great stories.

Sam Lewandowski

Sam is a Belmont University graduate with a degree in Creative Entertainment Industries and a lifelong passion for storytelling. She got her start behind the camera in high school, competing in multiple film and broadcast competitions before moving into roles across live production, commercial work, and creative media. That early drive to create meaningful visual stories carried her into the industry professionally, where she has built a versatile career spanning video
production, marketing, and client-driven creative work.

Today, Sam brings experience from a wide range of projects, from producing content for national brands to supporting podcast and broadcast teams through editing, pre-production, and project management. Her work has earned recognition from NATAS, the Student Television Network, SkillsUSA, and the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association, underscoring a commitment to craft, curiosity, and collaboration. Originally from Northwest Arkansas and a proud Razorbacks fan, she’s equally enthusiastic about board games, dogs, and any story that brings people together.

Joel Nunneley

Joel A. Nunneley happily serves as Marketing Director and Board Member of the Rogers Short Film Festival.  Joel and his team at The Nunneley Group have helped bring significant growth, vision, and expanded community engagement to the festival. His firm specializes in strategic business and marketing support for medical practices nationwide, with a particular focus on ophthalmology and aesthetic medicine. Joel has previous corporate marketing experience with Allergan and Johnson & Johnson.

A pioneer in storytelling through video, Joel has been instrumental in bringing patient journeys to life across television and social media, helping practices connect with others in meaningful ways. Deeply invested in the arts, he has brought several significant art shows to Northwest Arkansas. Over the years, Joel has helped many non-profit organizations and was a founding board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of NWA. As a former Big Brother himself, he is proud that his son and daughter are now Bigs!

The son of accomplished bronze sculptor and businessman J. David Nunneley, Joel has followed a parallel path—blending creativity, entrepreneurship, and a deep respect for storytelling. Joel also inherited his father’s love of fly fishing as they were well traveled on many fishing adventures. The family love of the arts and fly fishing has carried on to the next Nunneley generation.
