How do I purchase tickets or passes?

You can purchase tickets and passes online at rogersshortfilm.org or in person at the box office during the festival.

What is the difference between a ticket and a pass?

A ticket grants access to single-day or two-day screenings. A pass provides access to masterclasses, premium seating, and access to the filmmaker lounge, catered with free food and drinks.

If I’m a filmmaker, do I need to buy a ticket?

No, if you’re a filmmaker selected in the Rogers Short Film Festival, you will receive two filmmaker passes that grant you admission to the festival and access to all events.

Do screenings sell out?

Yes, the previous Rogers Short Film Festival hit capacity and was standing room only. We recommend buying tickets ASAP!

When and where is the festival taking place?

The 6th annual Rogers Short Film Festival runs from May 1st to May 3rd at the Victory Theater in Downtown Rogers, Arkansas.

How can I view the full festival schedule?

The full schedule will be available on our website one week after selection announcements.

Is there an opening or closing night event?

Yes! Following the conclusion of the awards ceremony on sunday evening, an after party will be held at the filmmaker lounge for all pass holders, filmmakers, sponsors, and more.

What types of films are shown?

We screen a diverse selection of narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, and student films from around the world. The categories are:
- 0-60 (Anything under 1 Minute)
- K-12
- Student Post-Secondary (College or Graduate School Students)
- Amateur (Any film not backed by a production company or with professional funding)
- Professional
- Documentary
- Abstract/Experimental

Are children allowed at the festival?

Yes, but some screenings may not be appropriate for young audiences.

How do I submit my film to the festival?

Submissions are accepted through FilmFreeway. Visit our Submissions Page for guidelines and deadlines.

When will I be notified about my submission status?

Notifications for the 6th annual festival will be announced April 3, 2026.

Do you offer fee waivers for submissions?

We offer a limited number of fee waivers for students and underrepresented filmmakers. Contact us for more info.

Will the festival be streamed online?

No, the Rogers Short Film Festival does not screen films virtually.

Will food be provided at the festival?

The Rogers Short Film Festival partners with downtown restaurants, offering 10% discounts on meals. See the program for this year's restaurant list. Hors d'oeuvres will be served at the filmmaker lounge for festival pass holders. Concessions are available at the theater.
